A way through
Kundalini was how Susana found her way back to better mental and physical health. She came looking for something that would work in a real body, on a real week — not an idea to admire, a practice she could return to. Class is built from breath, from moving, from sound, until you can feel like yourself again.
You do not have to arrive impressive. You have to arrive. Show up tired, curious, new, or years in. She starts from there.
This is your work. You are the one who changes your life. Susana has walked this path, and she will walk it with you — not as the point of the room, as someone who knows the way through.
Take what is useful. The point is not a perfect class. It is leaving with something you can actually use when you get home.
In the room
A Kundalini class
You open together. Then the breath is used on purpose. It carries the class.
The heart of it is a kriya: a set of exercises done in a set order, with the breath, sometimes a mantra, held long enough to change how you feel. Each piece builds on the one before it, so the work accumulates.
Then you lie down so the body can take in what you just did. Most classes close with the gong, then a meditation. You work at your own pace.
The work
What you bring
You walk in carrying a week. Pressure you put on yourself. Things other people need from you. A quiet story about not measuring up. Leave it all at the door. Walk in empty enough to actually be here.
You do not have to be perfect. You notice. You stay. You breathe through the parts that want to leave. The change is yours. Susana holds space while you meet it.
What you practice here is meant to travel. A clearer breath in the car. A little more space when the day starts stacking up. The studio is only where you remember you already have a way through.
